Can't scroll the timeline while holding a clip

I use the mouse wheel when scrolling the timeline, It doesn't work when I'm dragging clips around.

What are the fixes to this?

You need to push the clip a couple of times against the beginning/end of the timeline.

Is there any way to use the scroll wheel instead? Pushing the clip is quite inconsistent, I could have sworn there was a faster way of doing things.

You cannot click and sroll at the same time.
