Most common issue is not source patching the tracks.

I am not seeing this on windows: try resetting prefs.

Import project into a new one.

Trash custom workspace and make a new one.

Thank you so much for prompt reply. I figure out that import file direct from folder to source doesn't save in project. If i import first to project and to source the only it works smoothly without problem. Can you fix this issues please?

Cannot be fixed: it's by design.

Need to import the file first before being able to do anything to that file, e.g. set in/outpoints.

Premiere has never copied a file from one place to another on "import". In Premiere, that just means that is has added the metadata from the file, including the file location, to Premiere's project metadata.

That's how it works and always has.

In MediaBrowser, and also in the newer Import page, there are options but the user must set those on, that can do things like copy/move and do cheksum checks of file integrity. I don't think you've been doing that.

So if you say connect a camera card to the computer, "import" from the card, and then take the card out, Premiere doesn't have anything anywhere of that file because you removed it.
