I have a project that is +5 Mb and i cannot import that project into Pr CC2017. I get the import dialog but once i select the project file and click OK nothing happens. The Project panel says "Import media to start". Smaller projects seems to import fine. Does anyone else see the same issues, iow problems with importing old projects?

The project is created in CC2015, Windows 10. Cannot import it into CC2017, Windows 10.

Then Premiere Pro launches and ask me to convert the project file as usual. But since this is a large project i want to create a new project in CC2017 and then import the old project into a new CC2017 project. That has over time proved to be the best way to open old projects.

I tried to do a screen recording of the issue yesterday and then it worked...

Hi Averdahl,

Is it possible to share us just the project file without media for test? If Yes, I will send you a PM with information to share the file safely.

Thanks,

Vidya Sagar.

Why use BETA2017? They finally have 2015 working in a tolerable manner....

If it ain't broke, don't "Fix" it....!
