Cannot remove gap in my sequence

Community Beginner ,

Hello,
I am currently making different versions of one video and this gap appeared in my sequence. I have no idea how to remove it and without removing it the video does not start for a split second. I have attached a picture below. Is there a quick fix to this? Thank you.

OK. Select the timeline. Try Markers > Clear In and Out. Does that do what you want? Let us know, @Max3329680148iy.

Hi @Max3329680148iy,

I read your message. Have you tried clicking in the gap and pressing the Delete key? That should work. Try it out.

Thanks,

Kevin

I can delete the gap in the sequence, however that does not solve the issue of the video starting late because I cannot move the gray area on the time ruler back.
