Change Metadata for multiple clips

Cant seem to do this even with the Metadata>window.

For instance, selecting multiple clips in the project panel and changing fields in the metadata only changes the first two clips I selected.

Adobe is aware of the issue.  We can only wait for a fix.

I only became aware of it with the 2018 version.  I can't speak on the issue for previous versions.

FWIW: I gave it a quick try in Prelude and it seems to work there.

I'm having the same problem with v12.0.1 but it definitely worked fine with the last of the v11 builds.

Good to hear that Adobe are aware but I wonder how long we wait to get a fix? I've got about 2000 clips to log and not being able to batch edit the meta is gonna take forever! And I see someone said its ok in Prelude, but that app is so slow to use (take 10 mins now to open my project) that I can face even using it.

I wonder if one of the Adobe moderators could find something out for us?

They still have not addressed this issue with a patch. They have essentially made an entire utility useless in their own program. I would like to know from somebody at Adobe at least why this is happening. It is very frustrating and an egregious oversight on their part that shouldn't be brushed away.
