Close gap not working because of sync error

So close gap options just doesn't work and ripple delete cases the weird thing in the video to happen I've searched around no locking everything but the track doesn't work no top and bottom layers aren't interfering (I deleted them before trying) sync lock ist turned off everything can anyone help

Delete and close gap won't work unless there is no other media (including audio) on a lower track in the gap area.
