Closed captions with Cyrilic symbols

Hi. I Have a problem when importing SRT file with text on Cyrilic. I have wrong symbols. In notepad symbols is ok at the same time. 

Premiere Pro 2021

Region is set up on Russia in Windows settings.

Your screenshot is from PR 2020 or before. The new caption workflow in PR 2021 is dramatically different. Also, because it uses the Essential Graphics process, it handles fonts differently.

srt import can have issues based on the type of file it is saved as: in PR 2020 and before (and I suspect PR 2021), non-English languages imported correctly using UTF-8 with BOM. But I've seen other recommendations.

What file type is your srt?

Thx a lot! I was used sublime text and converted srt to UTF-8 with MOB. My problem was resolved.
