Color Correction in RAW

Hi, i am new to editing so still trying to figure out the color correction methods. In a recent project i am working on, the colors in Canon Raw are incorrect. Red colors are showing as a yellow/orange color. I have been trying to fix this but no luck so far. I have attached two images. The first zoomed out image (#1) is what the clothes of both boys should look like. The zoomed in image (#2) is what they currently look like. Any help with this will be appreciated. Also, if anyone can tell me what causes this problem, i will appreciate it.

That looks like there may be a mismatch due to their new color system in Pr2022. Perchance, is the clip showing HLG for color space, or is it a log-encoded clip?

Go to the clip in the bin, right-click/Modify/Interpret Footage ... if it's not showing as Rec.709 in the color management options at the bottom, try using the option to 'override to Rec.709'.

Thank you for responding. It is log-encoded clip. The color management system is already showing 'Rec. 709'. Any other suggestion that i can try?

Again, you might try the override to Rec.709, not that it's a guaranteed fix. Weird but takes a few seconds.

Did you use a normalization LUT on that project, by the bye?

I tried overriding to Rec. 709 but it did not help. I am not aware of normalization LUTs. Could you please let me know where to find those?

Ok ... a normalization LUT is something that you either make or get from the manufacturer, to take log-encoded media and make it look "normal" ... and no clearly, you're not using one. So we leave that behind.

Next, where are the two images coming from? Are they both screengrabs from Premiere's monitors, or is the 'original' from some other video player?

They are both screen grabs from Premiere's monitors for the same projects but different cameras. The camera with correct colors was not shooting at log. It was shooting in standard mode.

does your Sequence > Sequence settings, set Working Color Space match your interpret colorspace?

also, does it match worse or same when you apply lumetri effect?

what are you comparing it to that you know that it wasn't simply recorded with different camera settings?
