Compatibility for Premier Pro 22.5

I am running Premier Pro 22.5 with Catalina. I need to upgrade to at least Big Sur. I have read of compatibility issues when upgrading Mac Os systems. I have project already in PP 22.5 that can not be compromised. Keeping Catalina is not an option. I must upgrade to At least Big Sur. Advice?

Are you able to complete your project and upgrade afterward? 

If not, you can do you the OS update (I recommend Monterey if your hardware supports it, not Big Sur) and if you're running the same version of Premiere, you should be fine.
