Hi, I have the April 18 update (12.1.1) and now the programme is constantly crashing when I go to grade the edit. This didn't happen before and doesn't happen on any of the other workspaces, is anyone else experiencing this?
If you looked through a page or two of threads, yes, a number of people have had this issue. And using the Search feature of this forum is one of the few things that actually work as I'd like in these forums on the Jive platform.

Close and relaunch PrPro. You may need to do this a couple times.
Past that, manually deleting the Layouts folder, rebooting, then relaunch PrPro may work. Sadly I'm on my phone right now and don't remember the full path to the Layouts folder, but it is mentioned in the other threads.

Thanks Neil, that worked and I appreciate you taking your time to help someone.
However, please don't preface your help with the assumption that I didn't do research first - I did; I searched here and Google. I tried it with different computers and with different OS'. I even installed CC17 to see if it was a hardware issue - the only time it crashed was one my studio desktop with install 12.1.1; it didn't crash with the same software on MAC laptop12.1.1.; it didn't crash on CC17 PC studio desktop; I even wondered if it was because I was working with 4k clips so exported a test as 1080 and kept a new project clean of everything yet it still crashed. I tried different access to the colour workspace, it crashed.
Obviously, my search criterium in this forum was incorrect because I initially saw no threads in relation to my problem. After your mention, I altered my search and found what you suggested.
So, while I appreciate your help in solving my problem, I see no reason for you to assume I was lazy before I asked the question - sometimes people ask for help as the last resort and not the first.

Steve, there was no assumption of laziness. This forum "system" is legendary for its ... inconsistency and odd performance, perhaps? So any assumption I would make is that it wasn't particularly clear how this all works ... Or at times, doesn't.
As in, the Search function isn't even recognized as duh by many, and yu have to try various terms. I should still have taken time to be more clear.
And I'm very sorry if I wasn't clear about that. Working from my phone isn't quite the easy response device that a full keyboard allows.
