Converted project to Production - now timeline default keyboard commands are behaving erratically

Community Beginner ,

I've just converted an existing project to a Production. Now default keyboard commands are behaving erratically.

Usually I use CMD + Up Arrow to jump to the head of my sequence. Now that command jumps to and selects the previous clip.

Usually I use / (forward slash) to display the full timeline/sequence. Now that adds in and out points.

I'm having this issue across different Productions. It perists after restarting my computer.

Is this a known bug? Have I done something wrong when adding existing projects to a new Production?

Thanks in advance!

Version: Premiere Pro 2025.3

Computer: M4 Pro Mac Mini 24GB

Magic British keyboard

OS: Sequoia 15.5

Did you check which keyboard shortcuts saved set is active right now? That could be different than the one you've made previous.

Open the keyboard shorts dialog (Ctrl-Al-K I think ...) and see what is listed as the current key shorts set.

The issue is persisting when I go back to my backup of the orginal project file.

Tilde key used to maximise the selected panel. Now its adding random In and Out points.

Again, what keyboard shortcut set is being used? There are several built-in ones of course besides any you may have created.

And language of the OS can influence this.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I'm experiencing this issue while using the Premiere's default keyboard short cuts.

I'm using a small British keyboard (https://www.apple.com/au/shop/product/MXCL3BX/A/magic-keyboard-usb-c-british-english), using Australian English. Happy to change to US/British English if you think that will help.

I think purchasing a full-sized keyboard may help.

I tried re-starting and holding down Option while opening Premiere to restore default settings.

I also tried uninstalling One Drive after reading One Drive can cause performance issues. But haven't noticed a change.

I have Razer Synapse and Logitech G Hub and Logi+ Options installed. I know these programs can sometimes be buggy.

Might try the US/Brit English option then.

Hi @magpiemel -   Thanks for submitting your bug report. As Neil has said it sounds like your keyboard input source is having issues.  What are your keyboard "Input Settings" set to in your preferences?  First can you try uninstalling your Logitech G Hub and Logi+ to see if that helps your issue?

Thanks guys.

I tried to unistalling Logi+ Options & G Hub. (But I can't delete G Hub completely from my trash Bin.

There might be some errant system files I haven't been able to find and delete).

With the default Premiere shortcuts the tilde key for maximising the selected panel is still behaving very erratically. Sometimes it works for all panels except the timeline. Adding an In point in the Timeline - instead of maximising the Timeline panel. Sometimes it maximises the Timeline panel. But won't minimize it.

Thanks
