Copy/pasting text formatting with colors from Word to Premiere Pro

I'm working on a project where I need to maintain colored text formatting when copying from Word documents to Premiere Pro. Currently, when I copy colored text from Word and paste it into Premiere, all the text appears black, losing all color formatting.

I've already tried copying the text to Adobe Illustrator and InDesign first as an intermediary step, but the colors still don't transfer - the text remains black when pasted.

I know that some formatting like superscript can be preserved when going through InDesign first (as mentioned by another user), but I specifically need to maintain the different text colors from my Word document.

Has anyone found a solution for preserving text colors when copying from Word to Premiere Pro? I'd prefer not to manually recreate all the colors for each text element as I have numerous text blocks with various color formatting.

Any workarounds or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

AE will open a PDF, but it makes it a graphic, and I couldn't get the text to edit. But the colors were right.

Thats strange.. I even tried to to access the text by unzipping the whole project, but text details are encrypted in Base64 or something similar.. Why are they making it so hard in Premiere while AE-Effects are accessible via API and Plugins?
