I am assembling digitized old super 8 movies into a comprehensive Premier Pro movie, adding titles, narrative, etc. Great.
Two issues, with the same solution.
1) I need to make a short movie of some of the clips, along with the stuff I added for those clips, without changing the original. There has to be an easier way other than making a duplicate and deleting all the unwanted clips.
2) I realized that when I added my titles, I made the whole thing too long. I need to cut some of the end off and start a new project with the cut off part.
How do I do this?
Thanks!
1. Nest the original sequence into a second and cut that up.
2. I'm not understanding this. Can you clarify?

1. Thanks. Got it.
2. I simply need to shorten my original sequence, and start a new sequence with the part I’m cutting out. It would be nice if I could just start a new sequence, then cut and paste the cut part from the original sequence into the new one. Is it that simple?

Or just duplicate the sequence and cut off what you wish in the newly duplicated sequence.
