Creation Date blank after import

First of all I am a novice at this. Trying to import files created on my Sony PXW-Z90Z. Files are 4K MXF type. In Media Browser the Date Created is there for each file.

When I import them the Creation Date (yes I enabled that column in the browser) is blank. I want to be able to short by date but am unable to. HELP!

We're sorry to hear this. Please let us know the version of Premiere Pro that you are using and is this happening specifically with the Sony PXW-Z90Z files or is it with all the media files? Let us know, we're here to help.

Permiere Pro Version14.0.0 Build 572. Appears to be related to the MXF file type. I don't have any other cameras that generate that file type. Other file types (MP4 specifically) don't seem to exibit the same problem. Note also that the file browser (Windows 10) DOES show the creation date for the MXF files. Hope that helps?
