Hello Everyone.

I am running the Latest version of Premiere Pro, Today, I noticed My Custom Keyboard Shortcuts are Missing. When I Scroll Down Inside the Keyboard Shortcuts, I wont see My Custom keyboard Shortcuts.

Thanks.

Did you select your Custom keyboard set in the top option in the keyboard shortcuts dialog? Your customized shorts will only appear in your customized set.

I had the same problem. My screen did not even show the last item of '(Custom). Then I stumbled on a solution.

I selected the default item of 'Adobe Premiere Pro Default' and then cllicked 'Save As' tab as seen on the right. Then I wrote my own name for the shortcut. Thereafter whenever I selected on the Preset dropdown tab, my shortcut name was shown as a last item in the list.

I hope this helps.  Prem Pro Keyboard Shortcut Screen Shot 1.jpg

Yes, as Ann mentioned, try Sync settings if you've set that up perhaps your keyboard shortcuts are saved there.

You need to back those up also, they're  in this folder:

C:\Users\You\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\13.0\Profile-You\Win

I tried syncing, It did not work. I recreated the keyboard shortcuts again., and now It's working. I noticed they are saved in this folder:

C:\Users\You\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\13.0\Profile-CreativeCloud-Win.

Also, I copied my custom preset in my Desktop in case If I need to copy it back.

So Technically, If the preset is missing I can always copy-paste it back on this folder ????

I like to have my presets save in my Local Hard drive rather than CreativeCloud drive, can I do that?

Thanks.

Yes, that's backing up of a sort, ie: copying that file to the desktop. In case that computer is stolen or the hard-drive fails, you should copy important files to an external drive of some type. And for extra safety in case the building burns down you would have an offsite backup. My keyboard files are saved in the folder I gave you, and creative-cloud duplicates those into it's folder (the one in your post) using 'sync'. I just changed two shortcuts yesterday and saved them into a new file as I always do "Myer PP Keys - 2019-09-20", and that file is in both folders along with all the other saved kys files. So backup... 🙂
