I shot a lot of footage of which I only need about half of it after cutting it together in Premiere Pro. As the 5DIV files are huge, I would like to delete the obsolete footage. Is there any way to do this automatically or at least semi automatically, or do I have to search and delete each file manually?
Regards,
Claus
If you rightclick on clips in the project window, make them off line you will be asked if they should remain on the hard disk or if they should be deleted.

Hi Ann Bens,
I just tried that with attached proxy and it deleted the actual footage but not the proxy (in a Proxy subfoder). Is this what is to be expected?

I think this feature only applies to the actual footage not the proxy.

Thanks Ann that was exactly what I was looking for. But I found out, that the files are directly deleted and are not in the trash bin. That is a pity.
