Disk Drill: how to recover prproj file from a formatted drive - win 10

Hi all,

I am on win 10. I have upgraded my machine and by mistake I have formatted an external hd where I was keeping all my files including prproj ones.

I am running disk drill for the second time now. The app is recovering all sort of files (ae, psd, ai) but I can't find the the premiere pro ones so I am wondering if they go by a different name? How do I identify them?

I saw a thread of someone else having the same issue and they recovered the files succesfuly but they were on Mac, so I am wondering if anyone else on Windows had the same issue as me? Is there a chance for those files to be recovered?

The .prproj files are "compressed" (i.e. zipped), but the file name ends in the .prproj extension. If you are recovering any zipped files, I'd ask on a Disk Drill forum.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am in touch with the Disk Drill Techical Support. Going through the recovery now, hopefully they'll come up.
