Do I need to install codecs for Premiere Pro?

Hi, is there any other codecs like quick time player for premiere pro? Please suggest some codecs that i need to install in my pc for premiere pro.

 Not really, unless you have some unusual specific need. Pr is built to work with most video format/codecs out there. Except for mkv/Matroska and a couple others.

You do not need to install any codec.

Do not ever install a codec pack as they can mess up your good codec.

You do not need to install mkv either as Premiere does not support the codec.
