I noticed there was an update but adobe seems to have removed version numbers from the CC app. Last time I checked the forum was filled with complaints about bugs. I used it for one project. then went back to 2017. TBH didn't think there was much in this release worth worrying about.
Getho,
Answer: Yes. There is one small issue and that is certain third party audio plug-ins may be causing a crash on launch.
Thanks,

Been working fine for me.
And this forum is for users with problems ... what else do you expect here? 😉

I usually look at the forums after a new release, you can get a sense of the level of problems by the tone of the posts and the number of issues. (Which was reinforced by my problems). But good to know it's working for you... I'll give it a go again.

It's always a bit of a crap-shoot, which is a pain. Some groups of users will have major issues, some small annoyances, and many working just fine. So ... which one you gonna be in this time?
So I always install new releases of OS and and apps after they've been out a while, and test them before moving projects onto them. Just saves grief.
