download Adobe Premiere Pro 2023

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to download Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 (specifically version 23.6.8) for Windows. The Creative Cloud app only offers the latest and previous versions, and the support chatbot keeps redirecting me to those.

I really need version 23.6.8 for compatibility reasons with ongoing projects. If anyone has an official installer or a direct download link from Adobe, I’d be very grateful.

OS: Windows 10/11

Thank you so much in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for the message. Sorry, but only v.24 and v.25 are currently available. v.23 is no longer available, and there is no installer. All software is distributed via the Creative Cloud application only.

Thanks,
Kevin

Can you please make it available again? Based on other forum discussions it seems pretty clear that a large number of your customer base still uses it, as many of us are using a macOS that doesn't play well with newer versions. I believe you still offer a v22 of Photoshop for a similar reason- please extend the same courtesy to your video users.

Really sorry for the frustration! We'll take this feedback into consideration and do our best to advocate for you on this side of things. Unfortunately, it's not just a magic switch that we can flip for you. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Would really like to highlight the importance of keeping these legacy versions available. Sometimes for longer running projects updating to a newer version of Premiere is simply not possible. I understand it seems archaic from the dev side, but most of us have to keep using the version we start in rather, than risk a huge project and client. It's a necessity to do our jobs.

I am in the middle of a client edit using Prem 23.6. I disable updates because I always have an issue. I needed to use the export to after effects comp feature which of was grayed out as I was runnin two different versions of each softwear so I updated prem.. BIG MISTAKE.. Now I can't get v24 or v25 to open. It crashes on startup. WTF am I to do? I have the latest studio driver installed but your buggy ass softwear has me pulling my hair out. Why is it so buggy? I NEED THE OLDER VERSION OF PREM 23.6!!! Man I have seriously has enough! This is the last project I edit in adobe. I am moving to Resolve
