I have a problem with Premiere 25.1. Can't drag my elements in my timeline when premiere is on my secondary screen. Works perfectly when it's on my primary screen.
Same than this problem: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/version-14-5-dual-monitor-bug/td-p/13515875
Only difference is that even changing workspace didn't correct the problem. I even tried starting premiere with Alt pressed and resetting all the checkboxes there, but nothing.
While looking around my computer I found that if I put both my screens with the same amount of zoom, Premiere works again on my secondary screen. But it messes up my workflow. This way I always have a screen perfect and another too zoomed in or too zoomed out.
While trying to do a screen grab of my problem to show you I encounter something really weird. To my eyes my premiere window is fullscreen, but to the screengrab it's zoomed in so much that I can't even see my timeline (wut?). That's not what I see with my eye. I have attached a screenshot of what I see and the screengrab of the same screen, taken 5s later. The problem really seems to come from the zoom.
Anything to correct this?
Thanks for sharing the details. Some users fixed this issue after rolling back to the previous Windows update. If you have that update from January 28 (https://adobe.ly/4hnf3zk), please roll back to the previous one (January 14) if that's feasible for you. Hi,
Sorry for the issue. Are your monitors of different sizes or resolutions? Does dragging and dropping from the center of the screen instead of the corners work? Please check this article (https://adobe.ly/3WOPFKG) and see if the display layout is set correctly for your monitors. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Ishan

Hello! both monitors are 4K. my main is 17" (laptop) and the secondary is 27"
Main screen is in zoom 250%, secondary is in zoom 150%, those are the recommanded presets from windows. So far only the difference in zoom seems to be causing the problem. Again when both are at the same value, everything works. I thought about my GPU but my drivers are up to date everywhere.
I have tried positionning my window everywhere on my second screen, in small and medium size, moved it all over can't drag anything.
I can select the elements on the timeline and drag and drop their start and end point, so it's not a matter of clicking on something I think is there but isn't.
