DVD made in Encore not playing in Windows 10

I created a DVD in Encore CS6. I tested it in my computer, which is Windows 7, and it worked just fine. I gave it to my client, who has Windows 10 and she said when she put it in her computer, it didn't autoplay. She went to Computer and clicked on the DVD drive, but it instead of playing, it opened up and showed her the DVD's files.

I asked her if her computers autoplay was turned on and she said it was.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Thanks in advance.

Encore makes a DVD, it has nothing to do with the autoplay settings in a computer

Yes, Win7 and Win10 handle autoplay differently, since Win10 has different security settings

Hence the link I posted suggesting searching at Microsoft for help with Win10 and DVD playing

Tell her to search Microsoft – Official Home Page  for help with playing a movie DVD

but it instead of playing, it opened up and showed her the DVD's files.

Then double click on the ifo file.

dont think it matters if you are on W7 or W10.

Check the dvd in a standalone.

What do you mean by a standalone? A standalone DVD player?

Yes... put the DVD in a player connected to a TV... does it play?

Sounds like Wena's issue is that the disc she is outputting is not autoplaying in the client's computers. Is there an Encore setting that triggers an autoplay or is it exclusively the domain of the computer being used to play the disc? Also, is there any difference between Windows 7 & Windows 10 in how autoplay works?

I'm confused as to why it wouldn't play automatically unless there's some setting in Encore?

Which software is used to play the dvd?

I put it in a DVD player and it worked.

That's interesting to note that W7 and W10 handle autoplay differently. That at least tells me that the problem is not the DVD, which is what I was worried about.

Thanks!
