I have the current PP CC, and I have been successful in editing multi-cam sequences. However, I believe that selecting the angles (subsidiary cams) must be done in "real time" while the sequence is running. My workaround is to stop the sequence, place color-coded markers where I want changes, and then re-run the sequence. As the markers appear, I select the angle (cam). Is there an easier way?
Yup! All you have to do is drag/place your playhead where you want to cut to a different angle, and then up in the Multicamera view in the Program Monitor, simply hold the Command (Mac)/Control (Win) key and click the angle you want. Voila! You can cut without having it play in real time.

Or use numpad shortcuts to switch.
Numbers unmodified switch current clip (no edit points created) control/command & numbers create edit at playhead and switch to that camera
