Editing Text freezes the playback monitor.

Whenever I try to move text around on screen, or write text the playback mintor will freeze and I have to close and restart the program. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Set editing mode to custom and set preview codec to Prores LT and turn off comp in linear color.
