Editing track keyframes: are clips automatically locked?

Is this new behaviour? When editing keyframes on an audio track, I can't seem to make any changes to clips on the track until I switch to clip keyframes. Not the biggest deal, but I never noticed it before. Can this be turned off?

No, nothing new: always been like that.

It's either setting keyframe for clips or for the entire track: cannot do both.

And no, you cannot turn this off.

Thanks Ann.

I wasn't surprised that one can't set both types of keyframe at the same time, but I was surprised that I couldn't move or cut clips while the track keyframes were active. Don't know how I missed that. Oh well.
