Effect controls timeline keeps jumping in zoom

I've had this glitch for years now, finally wanted to demonstrate it... Hopefully it can be fixed in an update, soon!

Essentially the effect controls scroll/zoom slider keeps behaving unpredictably. Randomly zooming out and jumping back. I've recorded a video to demonstrate this.

If you uncheck Pin to Clip and expanded your work area it would make this a lot easier.

Thank you!

Where is this "Pin to clip" checkbox located?

Not sure if expanding my work area is feasible in my work flow, or with my current hardware. Of course I'd love a 2 screen setup... thanks for the suggestion tho!

Regardless, I think the software should not act erratic like that.

I have confirmed the current premire pro beta version does fix this!  This is awesome to know there's FINALLY a fix in the pipeline, even if it's 6 years after it first showed up.  However, Because premire pro beta doesn't link to media encoder, it'd be nice to see this update pushed out broadly!
