Hi,
I don't know if this is a feature or not, but I have not figured it out yet.
I love making subclips from my original footage. I use those subclips in many different sequences but I always have to do the color correction and effects all over again.
Is there a way to make a subclip from the timeline and have to editing stay with the subclips? Would make my life a lot easier.
Thanks!
You need to add the effect to the master clip in the Effect controls first before doing anything else.

No you are making subclips from the master clips, so no effects.
If you would put the effect on the master clip then you will retain the effect when making sub clips.

Ok, thank you for your reply.
I now made some edits to the original master file in the timeline, selected in and out points in the timeline and made a subclip out of it. When I added the subclip to a new sequence, the effect dit not stay with it and I had to do it again.
Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks!

Thank you all for your reply.
Bonus question. If I have made the edits to my premier project on my PC, and want to use the same material on my Mac, is there a way to have the edits stay with the media across platforms/projects?
Thanks
