I keep getting this error when I try to export one of my videos, and nothing I tried has fixed it.
I'm using a Mac.

Don´t use ( ) ! and similar characters in the file path.
What happens if you just render the file to the Desktop and thus avoiding (Take A Look!) in the file path?

I've never had this prevent me from exporting a video before.
I should mention that most of the time Audition simply crashes when I hit "export media".

Did you even try to export to directly to the Desktop, to avoid (Take A Look!) in the file path?
It´s always, in any application, recommended to only use a-z, - or _ and 0-9 for a good reason. Sometimes it works without flaws to export to a folder named "(Hello there!),it´s friday n.o.w" but far too many times errors boils down to deviating from only using a-z and 0-7 and dash and underscore.
At least, try it.

I wasn't able to try it, it keeps crashing. And like I said, it's never been a problem before.

Got it!
Does it crash if you export to CineForm instead of H.264?

I wish I could, but it crashes as soon as I click this:

I tried it- and it seemed to reset the preferences well enough- but it still crashed.

just because something hasn't caused problems before does NOT mean it's not causing them now.
The suggestions regarding file paths and names are simple to test.
You haven't told us the sampling rate and bit depth of your source audio files. I'd suggest you convert all your audio source files to 48k 16 bit aiffs or wav files and see if that solves the problem. It's pretty amazing how well Premiere handles almost any format you throw at it, but sometimes troubleshooting by limiting your sources to tried and true formats that have been standard in NLE's from the get-go is the way to go.

What mgrenadier says! 🙂
.mp3 should always be converted to .wav or .aif @16-bit 48Khz before even importing it to Premiere Pro.

I tried converting the entire audio into a single 16-bit aiff and removed the original audio from the timeline and everything, even removing the audio plugins, but it still crashed the same way.

Try to create a brand new project and make a matching timeline, such as 1920x1080 25fps and place some synthetic video/audio on it such as Bars and Tone. When done, save the project.
What happens now when you click on Media?
No crash: Try to import the old project into the new one by using File > Import and then search for the project file and click OK. It will take some time, so have some patience.
Crash: Un-install Premiere Pro and re-install it.

I had to import the sequence file to get all the images and sound like they were supposed to be.
It's not ideal, but at least the video is exported...
Although now a different video won't even open for some reason.
That one has a .flac audio track and single image. However, I suspect it has something to do with one of the video effects I'm using- Digieffects Damage, which refused to remove itself from the Preview even after I deleted the effect. Now Premiere crashes when I try to open it.

I just started that second video over again. There wasn't much I needed to do.
