Config for fresh Windows Install (I was on Davinci previously but it seems i did a mistake to trust Adobe):
- CPU: Intel I7 6900K / AMD R7 4750G PRO (tested on both)
- RAM: 4x 32Go DDR4 3300 MT/s / 2x 32Go DDR4 3200 MT/s (tested on both)
- MOBO: Asus Rampage V E10 / ASRock B450M PRO 4 R.2 (tested on both)
- GPU: RTX 4070 Ti Super / Radeon VII PRO (tested on both)
- SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 2To (2 for each rig with fresh install of Windows 10 and 11 to make sure and tested ONE BY ONE not at the same time OFC)
- PSU: 1050W 80+ Platinium on each system
After trying to install the latest Adobe Apps in a fresh Windows system (I ABSOLUTLY need the latest version and tools):
- ALL Direct X up to date
- ALL .NET Framework and Runtime up to date
- ALL Visual C++ packages installed
- NO second display plugged in
- NO specific AV
- ALL Apps (.exe and childs) allowed in Windows Defender
- ALL Apps installed together AND retried on a fresh install ONE BY ONE (thx i have a mass Windows system deployment unit setup for god sake AND i've burned through my SSD health like a dead pig trying all that crap but it dosn't stop oh boy no...)
I then did the SAME on fresh VMs (Proxmox AND Fedora with Qemu/KVM properly set) to make sure i can manage every FREAKING things on the Windows side with different version from the past 3 years... My SSDs are now around 73% life left and they were brand new when i started... It's been 2 weeks alr and i need to work... It's drving me NUTS.
AND I STILL HAVE THIS FREAKING 0CX0000142 ERROR WHEN TRYING TO START ANY FREAKING APP FOR G0D D4MN HELL SAKE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ADOBE !!
Now WHAT?? What can i do? What is Adobe going to do?
