I started a new project with .mov files. some of them playback fine, but 90% just get this error and don't playback. I've tried to reencode them in media encoder but it throws out a similar error. Any ideas? I've read a lot of the community threads and none of the advice seems to be helping.

So kind of fixed it. I changed the file extensions from .mov to .mts with total commander. It did ruin a few of the clips but now 97% are working. Here is the video that helped me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5UWeahR1IU
