The Essential Sound Panel in Premiere Pro CC 2017. I am running Adobe CC 2017.0.2 v11, Mac OS 10.11.6. I have reset the Workspaces to default deleting the .xml files in the Premiere Pro>Layouts folder. Yet, when I go to the Audio workspace, I cannot see the Essential Sound Panel. I have looked high and low, done searches, watched the tutorials and zero luck.
This is the Audio workspace after resetting to default

Thank you for trying. It seems like a strange issue. Is it possible to update Premiere Pro to latest version CC 2017.1.2 & test?
It is a critical update which fixes many issues Premiere Pro 11.1.2 available today – critical update, highly recommended | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe

HI chrisa97474261,
Sorry for the issue with workspace, try the following steps,
Go to the following location in the machine
In Windows, C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\11.0 (Or)
In Mac, Documents > Adobe > Premiere Pro > 11.0
Rename the 11.0 folder to Old_11.0
Launch Premiere Pro, Create a new project(do not open Old projects)
In Menu bar, Window > Workspace > Uncheck Import Workspace from Projects.
Open the old project & check the issue.
Please let us know the status of the issue.
Thanks,
Vidya Sagar.

Thank you for your solution, but, unfortunately, that did not work. I followed your instructions to the dot, and the same Audio workspace as before appeared in the project. No Essential Sound Panel

I reinstalled Premiere Pro, and was able to get it to work. Is there a reason why Creative Cloud controller is not letting me know there are updates (it does on my laptop) or automatically updating? If there is a forum or something, I'd appreciate a link. Thanks for your help.
