Essentials Graphic missing from 2025 properties panes and Windows workspaces. MGRTs are not editable now.
It's now just Graphics workspace.
And we don't have the Essential Graphics as a separte panel, they've rebuilt so the Properties panel is where you change/set properties. It's totally "context aware" which is confusing at first.
So ... select a mogrt on the sequence, the Properties panel just shows the position/size/center points.
Click on some object in that mogrt in the Program panel, suddenly the Properties panel shows what we saw in the EGP, and all the controls, layer stack, everything are

Hello. I experienced the same issue. I’m also sad to hear that the vehicle was lifted. The problem of not having any options appear on the Properties panel and being unable to change the font and color was resolved by closing the current panel and re-adding the Properties tool from the Windows menu.

I have the same issue with the subtitles and with the text - it's frustrating, especially when I need to work fast on my tasks. I do not understand the purpose of changing the system if it worked fine and I do not see any advantages of it

How do I change the font color? I clicked on everything and activated everything what I could - it's just not logical and the color adjustment property just does not appear

Have you been able to rescue the Properties panel? If so, the font color is under Appearance--
If you're struggling to even find the Properties panel, I found a tip that making a copy of the project file and opening that will then populate the Properties panel where it should be -- (i.e. useable by actual program users)

Thanks a lot, I found it. Probably I just need to get used to it

I created a custom workspace with Properties and Graphics Templates I named "Properties." I find the panel quite handy. I would like to see some tweaks, like re-creating the same parameter order as the Effect Controls panel.
I'm doing a slide show and I prefer to use the Effect Controls panel with the parameters I most use stacked up. The UI text is closer together for a tighter mouse distance.
I will advocate for any other things you'd like to see. We should probably start a thread in the Ideas forum. What do you think?
Cheers,
Kevin

I've found the essential graphics tools in the Effect Controls window and all seems pretty straight forward, other than the fact this was a completely needless change. I have discovered though that the auto-alignment tool appears to be missing. Can someone direct me to where I can find this? This was one of my most common go to tools that now appears to have vanished.

To repeat, it's in the highly context aware Properties panel.
ALL the old EGP controls and maybe a couple new things now reside there. Click a text item on screen and they will appear in the Properties panel.
And yes, it's confusing at first. Very confusing.

But what about EXPORTING/SAVING a NEW MOGRT? That functionality seems totally absent now.

In Premiere, you still have all the same controls for styles creation and such, and managing local folders for mogrts in Premiere you have had. They're just in different places now.
The main mogrt creation platform is still AfterEffects, where you can quickly create all sorts of stuff, and set what parameters a Premiere editor/user can change, and how they change them.
And typically deploy through shared CC Libraries. Jarle Leirpoll wrote an ebook that Adobe provides free, on using Ae to create fast, supple mogrts and how to deploy them.

So you're saying A) the simple form of quick, easy MOGRT creation in PP is gone and now we have to rely on AE, which for beginners (not me but some I have to train) won't be able to do. And, B) you keep repeating the same points that everybody gets about Properties. But the question is why would MOGRT creation be eliminated, OR is it still possible in some other way?

Where on earth did I say any of that? Didn't you read my first paragraph?
Mogrt creation tools are all still there as they were before, just changed in location. Period.
The new Graphics and Captions workspace has the mogrt listings of the currently 'loaded' ones. And is where you supposedly go to start new ones also.
And yes, the new location for text/shape controls within a mogrt is confusing, because of the (to me) silly "context aware" thing. You can't just click on the mogrt in the timeline, to get the text controls to show ... you have to click the text items in the Program monitor, then the text control items magically appear.
But many users love this, and it's apparently the same as in Illustrator and other Adobe apps.

Please don't take it as an argument. I'm just saying, again, I think we all get how to edit MOGRTS, context aware et. al. No issue!
But, if you know how to CREATE one in PP--simple ones--like you could before, please let us know. The "supposedly" part is the part no one seems to know about. Thanks.

Well, they make it a joy at times.
With the Properties panel up, but nothing selected, down in the lower left of the Properties panel is a thing saying Create Graphic.
So intuitive ... lol

This was helpful! That's the trick. Then, to add to it, simply select the graphic in the TIMELINE and RIGHT-CLICK, and select EXPORT AS MOGRT.
Thank you.

It is totally confusing at first. True.
But so many people have found that as they get used to the new process, just leaving the Properties panel visible makes everything go faster. As you always have whatever controls you need available all the time.
Once you learn to select something and hit the Properties panel.

Neil, I am having problems finding how to have imported text to roll in the latest Premiere.
I do not see anything for into and outro roll + ROLL properties in the Properties window.
I did go to Graphics and Titles menu > New Layer > Text and pasted in the text that I created in Word and the text did appear which I could move in Effect Controls. I did find responsive text - finally which gave me the controls for roll.
The edit and formatting of text in the program monitor is painfully slow! I need to adjust the text attributes: all caps, small caps, size color etc. Normally I would would place cursor before text and shift click to the end of the text I want to adjust but all I see is a red cursor before the text.

Hey, you aren't the first one to have trouble sorting that out. I couldn't, back when this first popped into the public beta. Until of course the amazingly knowledgeable Ann Bens noted that ...
wait for it, it's SO freaking intuitive ...!!!!
You select the blank space at the bottom of the Properties Panel layer stack ... the layer stack is where your text and graphics items are listed, right?
So you don't select the text you've typed or pasted there, you select the blank space line just below the lowest item in the layer's list.
And then ... the roll options appear!
Isn't that the most amazingly obviously intuitive UI design you've ever seen?
And there isn't a single trace of irony, sarcasm, or snark in my comments above ... not one bit ... sheesh.

I am trying to edit rolling text in a doc I am updating and find that the latest rev of PP is slow and unresponsive. I want to highlight a name that has a red cursor to adjust the text atrributes in effect controls. If I try to click before the name and press on mouse to highlight that name NOTHING happens. If I place cursor on top and do the same thing - nothing happens. If I place cursor as the end of the name and try to reverse the movement with my mouse - again... nothing happens.
If I change the tool from TEXT to POINTER and back to TEXT - sometimes I am able to highlight the words to adjust the attributes. This is taking forver and there has to be a better way to get through the rolling credit text.
Any suggestion (s) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to R Neil for - wait for it! - how to find where rolling text is in properties window!

Properties Panel does not show all the editable parameters for the mogrts. Why make changes like this before making sure they actually work the way they are supposed to?
Copy link to clipboard

The Properties panel is "context aware" ... like (apparently) in numerous other Adobe CC apps. Meaning it constantly changes to show the particular controls for the specific item you have selected at this moment.
So it does show the needed controls, when you have the right thing selected.
That's the trick to learn, and to expect. I'm starting to see why some experienced users actually love this, as it means they are shifting to other panels for setting things. Still ... trying to get used to it though.

When I click on my subtitle in "properties" there are no options for me to edit the font, size, etc... Like there was in essential graphics... Is something wrong with mine? Do I need another update how do I fix this ?! Ugggggghhh anybody SEND HELP !!
