New Here ,

Hi. I’m getting an error when trying to export into a DCP format: selector 9, error code:3. A low level exception occurred. How do I fix this?

JoeR,

What you might try is an export to an intermediate codec, then create your DCP from that. Does it work now? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

So ... export in say H.264 as I do most times and then use that file to do DCP? Sounds like a stupid question, but just want to understand fully

Thanks!

Joe

Well ... so far it seems to be working. I already had a version that was h.264 so I used that. The export started with no errors. It's going to take quite a while ... but so far seems ok. Thank you.

It will work, but you can probably achieve higher quality with either a ProRes (Mac) or GoPro Cineform (PC) output.

Thanks,
Kevin
