Is there - already - a way to export multiple clip markers from a sequence to a text or csv-file?

File > Export > Markers enables to export clip-markers one by one.

I have a sequence with a lot of clips and even more clip-markers. It's therefore practically impossible to export the markers one by one. What I need is way to export all clip-markers at once. Other edit-programmes do have this feature but Premiere Pro doesn't.

That's also why I have asked for a new feature in the next Premiere Pro update. I hope they follow my suggestion.

Oh, sorry. I overlooked where you said "clip markers" and just saw sequence. I agree exporting markers from clips would be very handy. Or perhaps the ability to move markers from clips to sequences too.

I've developed an extension that can import timecode-related information and automatically creates markers in your active sequence (http://markerbox.pro). I'm also planning more marker actions, including exports. So I am currently gathering use cases as "inspiration" for the next features to add.

Let's say Markerbox would be able to export all the clip markers in your active sequence to a CSV file, what would you want to do with this file? An export only makes sense if the resulting data can be used elsewhere or can be re-imported into Premiere.

Absolutely, using a CSV file in Excel can be incredibly useful! I'm planning to develop a keywording system for PR, similar to the ones used by Resolve and Final Cut. Imagine I'm working with 25 hours of footage. I organize my clips into different stringouts and mark important segments on each clip. I need to view all these markers at once. However, since I have multiple stringouts, the 'show all clip markers in sequence' option in the markers panel isn’t helpful. Instead, I would open a CSV file in Excel, sort the markers alphabetically, and identify potential groups. Then, I'd use smart bins for further organization.

It's surprising and inconvenient that there's no straightforward way to export markers from multiple clips into a single CSV file, especially considering the amount of available metadata.

Took me 1/2 hour to figure this out, but you can do it with Prelude. Import all your clips (folders), etc, and select everything or the files you want, select from the FILE menu File/Export/Markers, set your folder and file name and <OK> and out they go. Works really well if PL doesn't crash. (It didn't doing this, but some other things I tried gave reproducable crashes).

HMM. I am trying to export about 50 clip markers in a long sequence (feature documentary) to communicate with an editor. It is only exporting around 12. I have tried selecting all, File>export>markers but still only exporting a fraction o f the markers.

Any help would be appreciated.
