Export to DVD?

Hello, I'd like to export some home movie conversions to DVD and understand Encore is no longer available. Would Toast still be a good alternative, or are there less expensive but just as good options?

Handbrake may be a viable option?

Handbrake does not author video dvd's nor can you burn disks, it just converts.
