I have a client that demands that I deliver news packages as h.264 with a quicktime wrapper. Can't seem to find a solution except to buy a mac. Am I the only one with this problem on CC Premier Pro? Is there a work around or a plugin that I could use?
Just change the .mp4 extension to .mov and QuickTime will handle it. AV Foundation Frameworks will as well if you're sending it to someone on macOS, iOS, tvOS, watchOS.
Important note: QuickTime was deprecated by Apple back in 2013. The file format is still in use, but QuickTime as a system driver for handling time based media is not. More info here if interested: http://devstreaming.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2013/606xdx2xbp31zp28fdov8p0b6d/606/606.pdf

Set Preset to e.g. Cineform first then change video codec.

Not all codec are installed.
Deinstall
Use Cleaner tool and reinstall.
Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Hi Ann... no dice. Uninstalled, used cleaner tool (I chose to clean all CC 2017 and earlier = #3) Reinstalled and I still have the much smaller group of codecs to chose from when opting for the Quicktime wrapper. Maybe I should choose to uninstall all CC when using the cleaner?
