Hi, I shot a series of videos on a Canon 5D and working in Premiere Pro CC to edit. What is the best way to export without losing the quality or resolution?

Then you are looking for an Intermediate codec. If you are on Mac, you could use ProRes. On either platform, CC now has DNxHD and Cineform options which are good. These files will be far larger than what you started with, so be prepared for that - you will not be emailing these to the editor! Must hand off a hard drive basically.

Thanks

Keeping resolution is not the difficult just keep height and width same.

Quality is a different ball game.

What is the final destination of your file.

Thanks for that answer. I was hoping to upload the files to dropbox but it's going to take soo long. Ahh I wish I knew advanced color correction.

I find Dropbox Pro also a viable option for handing off large files.  You get 1TB of storage.

Jim,

Good point - I do use DropBox myself and that may be viable for short clips, but unless someone has fiber internet, upload times would be crazy for longer files.

Thanks

Jeff
