ExtendScript Toggle Track Output

Does anyone know if this is possible? Looking at the API I see nothing allowing to do this but it seems relatively simple so I'm thinking it may be something I'm missing.

I just want to ability to disable some tracks from being visible when rendering without having to remove or modify the track items.

Have you tried muting those tracks? I haven't tested it in a while, but I believe you can mute video tracks too.
