extract still images from video

Help please, I have a 4 minute video at 30fps, I want to extract images from the video but not all of the 1,000's of images that extracting every frame would create. I want to extract only one or two frames per second from the video. Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?

Apply Video Effect -> Time -> Posterize Time to the clip.

In Effect Controls, set the framerate to 1 or 2 (frames per second).

Export as format PNG. Change the Framerate to 1. Create a folder for all the images.

Does that work? I used to do something like this in After Effects.

4 minutes X 60 seconds X 2 images per second - 480 images. If you export with the export name "My Image", PR will name the images, "My Image000",  "My Image001",  "My Image002", etc. Add a space if you want to separate the number. If you were exporting over a thousand images, the number would be 00001 etc.
