I have some linked compositions in a Premiere project where the link to the dynamically linked After Effects composition have broken. I tried "Link Media" and "Import After Effects Composition", and both times I got the error message "Failed to connect to dynamic link server". How do I fix this? I'm using Mac OS 10.14.6, Premiere 15.0, After Effects 18.4.6 (Build 2).

It sounds like it was working? If so, I'm not sure. But those are a few version ago now, are you working on a project so that you don't want to upgrade? When Adobe went to new version #'s the reason was to have the same # on AE/Pr/ME so you were sure to be using the matched versions of each other, which is needed for dynamic link to work.

Instead of using Dynamic link, export from AE and import that into Premiere Pro.
