hello,

I have this issue withe some .mov clips where thery only import audio into premiere. In VLC it can't playback the video. Media encoder does not understand it too and only reencodes the audio, black video. Any fixes for this?

Following up with a fix for anyone that has this problem, and stumbles upon this thread. The sole fix that worked for me on windows was using handbrake. You can download the software at https://handbrake.fr/

I tried Media encoder, shutter encoder, VLC (which has saved me in the past working on iPhone footage) and Sony prepare, the only thing that worked was handbrake, and it worked really well with minimal loss.

Hopefully this can help someone else the way it helped me.

Hey there! I'm having the same problem, and Shutter Encoder is spitting the files back at me as well - i can see the first frame of media on import, but the timeline doesn't appear like it does for other clips. I can view the videos on Google Drive, but not after downloading them. Did you set up any specific preset to convert your xalg files?
