Fix auto white balance during video clip

Community Beginner ,
Feb 14, 2022 Feb 14, 2022

I thought I set my camera to some steady white balance, but accidentally hit auto. Now the white balance changes the entire video 😞

Any ideas to fix this without keyframes (keyframes don't work well)

I found this discussion, but I feel like it's outdated or I can't find the settings..

Hi Dredd5E2C,

This type of work I would personally dynamic link over to After Effects. You can try using After Effect's Color Stabilizer effect, and see if that gets you desired results. I'll post a link below. The link says "Premiere Pro," but Akintayo actually does the work in After Effects. Let us know if this works for you!

While researching for my similar problem, I came across this video on YouTube. I downloaded the plug-in and have it installed, but haven't had a chance to get to the editing yet. I'm hopeful!

Brandon,

Hey, thanks for posting that link ... that guy explains this in a better way than 90% of the YouTube's I've seen trying to 'fix' this problem. Good resource there.

Neil
