Font went missing and also won't load from Adobe Fonts (Lato)

Hi,

Has anyone found a solution for this problem:

I opened up Premiere Pro today and the Lato font we've been using has vanished. (It is also gone from other Adobe apps.)

When I go to Adobe Fonts, it tells me Lato is activated.

I've tried closing the app and opening it again. No luck.

I've tried deactivating and reactivating the font. No luck.

Any other solutions out there?

FOLLOW UP:

And now the font is back.

There seems to have been a glitch in the Adobe Creative Cloud app. Despite being activated over on the Adobe Font website, the font was deactivated in the Creative Cloud app. No idea why or how.

So I toggled the font on and now it has reappeared.

Well, the problem has returned. Very similar circumstances in Illustrator.

Is it going to come back again, or is it lost?

Same issue here. In case it is relevant, I'm using Windows and not Mac OS. I ended up doing the following:

1. Deactivated the Adobe font
2. Installed fron Google
3. Uninstalled from the settings window (in settings, searched Font Settings, selected Lato from Available Fonts, uninstalled)
4. Emptied trash bin after (don't know if that affected things at all)
5. Lato from Creative Cloud got activated again and it worked

I don't know if this is a permanent fix or anything, but just need it to work long enough for a render before I have more time to troubleshoot...
