Footage skipping after export

New Here ,
Feb 02, 2017 Feb 02, 2017

This probably isnt new but after exporting my project the footage skips/jots/lags a frame here and there throughout the whole clip.

In the project within premier pro the footage is flawless/smooth.

Any ideas why?

I have exported into a number of different formats.

Hi Pomsie,

Change the Renderer in File > Project settings > General > Renderer, try export again & test.

Thanks,

Vidya Sagar.

Using windows media and "movies and tv" in windows 10, yesterday the footage skipped every 15 secs or so, today its smooth and consistent. It may be a performance issue with the computer but it is a gaming laptop with plenty of grunt behind it.

It seems to work now though...

I'm editing drone footage and handheld footage in 4k, exporting in 1080.

Stumps me.

Thankyou guys for getting back to me quickly.

Might want to use VLC instead.
