Frame Rate conversion

I recorded a screen capture using the software iShowU. I set it to capture at 29.976fps, but when it kicked out the files each was different...anywhere from 25 to 30 fps and in between which tells me the record was variable? I think there was an option to re-encode correctly to 29.976 after each clip was logged, but I didn't realize that until we were done. I'm editing in a 29.97 sequence, but obvisouly have all sorts of random duplicate frames scattered around. I need to kick the final video out for HULU and they ONLY take videos edited natively at 23.976 or 29.976.....so I'm in a bad spot......what are my options for correcting the frame rates to 29.976 so that HULU won't reject my ad?

Here is a link to learn a little bit more about VFR and what you can do about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/VideoEditing/wiki/faq/vfr

Hopefully this will be helpful!

Have you tried to reencode the video using Handbrake?? You can set a custom frameset on it.

Thanks. Yea, I just did a test clip, and while all the media info is correct, when I watch it frame by frame in quicktime there still appears to be a duplicate frame like every 4th or 5th frame. I'd imagine it'll get flagged still. But I could be wrong.
