Generate keyframes in ducking not working

New Here ,
Sep 25, 2019 Sep 25, 2019

I have an audio track of someone speaking and an audio track with music. I click on my music and then in essential sound, I click on ducking. I click on the speech icon. I change the setting and then click on 'generate keyframes', but nothing happens, no keyframes appear.

You need to set each audio for the "type" it is. So the music needs to be set to Music in the ESP, the dialog to speech.

Hi Neil and all Adobe community,

I am facing the same issue. I have my music track set on Music and my dialogue track set on Dialogue.
But still, when I click Genreate Keyframes in Ducking when I am on the music track (Duck against Dialogue) it won't generate any keyframes.

Any idea, of what could be causing this problem?

Thank you,

Tess

If ever this can help someone:

- Make sure that the "Show audio keyframes" setting is enabled.

- Expand the track to be large enough to see the waveforms and overlaid keyframes.
