Hi I was trying to encode a video using H.264 encoding in the newest version of Premiere Pro and I have no Hardware Acceleration Support. Under "Performance" it is greyed out under Software Only.
CPU: intel i9-7980xe
GPU - Quadro M4000
Ram : 64gb
Hi matthewt23722219,
This feature (Hardware Encoding) requires Intel CPU w/QuickSync (Sandy Bridge or newer Intel CPUs).
Check this thread for more information: Re: Media Encoder Hardware-accelerated H.264 in 2018 April Version
Thanks,

Well, I have quicksync on 2 systems and it's still greyed out...
What am I doing wrong? And I know I'm not alone (the internet is full of 'After effects/Premiere/Media encoder not using GPU' threads.)

Hello,
I have i7-7700HQ which has QuickSync according the link mentioned above.
However, I don't have the 'Hardware Acceleration' option, only 'Hardware Encoding' and 'Software Encoding' options (no matter which H.264 preset I select).
Also, after the latest update to Premiere Pro, suddenly it takes the 'Export Settings' window (Ctrl+M) about 15 seconds to open. Maybe the two issues are connected to each other.
See screenshots below for more system information.
Any idea how to solve the first issue (which may fix the second issue) will be much appreciated.
