Has 'Render In to Out' been removed??

Community Beginner ,

Did I miss 'Render In to Out' being removed a while ago or has this just happened?

Either way any idea why it's gone and has anyone got a workaround to help render small sections when needed for smooth playback?

I've tried 'Render Selection' but it just seems to play through without actually rendering, so I must be missing something there?

Cheers!

If you have the Work Area Bar active, you won't see Render in to out but rather Render entire work area.

Do you have the red bar over that section of the sequence?

No I've just got the yellow bar, so no effects as such, just some graphics and footage in multiple formats (I'm currently on an archive based doc).

Anymore, it seems to only do a render in-to-out if it's red. I do wish it was otherwise.

I can't even see it greyed out in the options and nothing shows in Help...so I think it must be entirely gone

If i have the timeline selected i can go to the Sequence menu and choose Render In to Out, and it will render the timeline if the render bar is yellow. The only time the menu i greyed out is when i close all timelines.

This has not been removed.

In your Sequence, mark an In, then mark an Out, and then choose Sequence > Render In to Out.   When finished, the marked time range should play.

All good...as @Ann Bens pointed out I had Work Area Bar selected in my Timeline window, which meant that 'Render In to Out' wasn't an option in the Sequence menu...now it's unselected it is again.
