Have I reached a vertical scroll limit for my text credits?

I run end credits at the end of my episodes which runs to around 400 lines. It scrolls from the bottom up, starting and ending off-screen. I use keyframes and change the position value so on a 1080 timeline using Source Sans Pro regular 50px the end position is around - 31000.

The problem is either adding extra lines or increasing the font size. There appears to be a cutoff at around - 32000. Any more than this and the text refuses to scroll off the screen.

Can anyone recommend a work-around for this? Each week my credits get longer so how can I ensure they always finish off-screen without decreasing the font size?

Thanks in advance.

Do your credits in Photoshop and then keyframe the position in Premiere Pro.

Hi Bob,

Isn't that going to present the same problem?

It shouldn't.

Try it quickly by creating a test image by copying and pasting multiple times.

Hi Bob, tried it and it works! Doesn't take any more time and in fact it's a bit more stable as I'm dealing with a single image. The png ended up being over 1mb in size but nothing Pr can't handle. Thanks for the tip!
