Having to render after every minor edit?

Trying to edit a video and I've just started to make small edits using basic correction, how can I see my edits in real time so I dont have to keep manually rendering? All I'm trying to do is make adjustments like bringing up exposure, shadows, and highlights.

What's your OS, GPU, and other hardware? What media are you working with, and what other effects are used?

Just some video there arent any other effects yet I've only started cutting out the parts I don't want

Did you delete the cache when you upgraded? Hold down shift as you start PP, you can delete the cache/etc from the popup.
